Annual trip to Seattle to spend time with grandparents, aunties and uncles. Lots of good food. We were regulars at the bbq store, noodle house, and bubble teas. Our new favourites are black plum green tea, and I ventured from my usual plum milkie tea to try sesame, honeydew, and mulberry. I have vowed to try ginger next year.
This summer we had the big excitement of Ha and Phuong's wedding. It was a beautiful day for the couple. After the traditional vietnamese ceremony at the Tong residence there was a western ceremony and reception. As the couple was speaking their vows I noticed that a hawk (or some other stunning bird) was soaring right above the gardens in the distance. I can't wait to see the professional photographs.
